Martha Yarbro

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Martha C. Yarbro, 81, died Tuesday August 9, 2016 ay Carolinas Healthcare Systems-Mercy. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Richard and Eva Lee Borders Carroll. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ryburn “Jim” Yarbro; one son, James Richard Yarbro.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Bradley Scott Yarbro of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Julie Yarbro Wilson and husband Scott of Bessemer City; five grandchildren, Brad Deaton and wife Ashley, Josh Yarbro, and Eric Yarbro all of Kings Mountain, Brett Deaton and Breanna Deaton all of Bessemer City; three great grandchildren, Brayden, Brantley, Braylee Deaton. The family would like to extend a special appreciation to the staff at Peak Resources of Cherryville for the care they provided for Martha.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 2-3 pm Sunday at Clay Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

CLERGY: Dr. John W. “Chip” Sloan will conduct a private graveside service for the family only.

MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
