Mary Lail

SHELBY- Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Green Lail, 85, of 314 Royster Avenue, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County she was a daughter of the late A.M. and Naomi Blanton Green. She was a member of New Bethel Church of Shelby and was retired from Ora Mill.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Leroy Lail, two sisters, two brothers, and step-son Charles Eugene Lail.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by three sons, Jimmy L. Lail and wife Faye of Ellenboro, Jerry Lail of Lincolnton, and Kenneth Lail of Shelby; a sister Grace Wright of Shelby; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Lail and Betty Lemons, both of Shelby; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 3, from 6-7:30 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 4, at 1:00 p.m., at New Bethel Church of Shelby, the body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
INTERMENT: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
CLERGY: The Rev. Reed Jones will be officiating
