Matril Wilson

SHELBY- Mrs. Matril C. Wilson, 70, of Maple Springs Church Rd., died Mon., July 30th, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Catawba Co., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie Rabb Hopper. She retired from the Esther Mill after 40 years.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her two sons, Richard “Keith” Wilson and wife Robin, Bobby Shawn Wilson; daughter, Beth Derene Wilkie and husband Alan, all of Shelby; brother, Bobby Hopper of Hickory; five grandchildren, Jason Turner, Christopher Wilson, Haley Wilson, Dillon Wilson, all of Shelby, Nikki Garrett of Gaffney; three great grandchildren; and special companion, Johnny Ray Black; and special friend, Joann Patterson, all of Shelby and her three beloved dogs, Toby, Dottie, and Jimmy. The family would like to give special appreciation to Dr. Mike and the staff at Shelby Medical Associates for the care given to Matril during her illness.


SERVICES: Friday, 2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 12:30 - 2pm, Friday, at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
