Matthew Dylan Smith

BLACKSBURG: Matthew Dylan Smith, 24, died Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home. Born in Gaston County, he is the son of Jamey Smith Sr. and Kimberly Dover Smith of the home. Matthew was an avid gamer with a gentle soul. He was kind hearted to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louise L. Dover and Jr. and Jean Smith. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jamey Smith Jr. of Shelby; aunts and uncle, Teresa Jackson, Kim Cobb, Kelly Watts, Keith Smith and Lisa Kirby; and numerous cousins.
