Maxine Davis Ramsey

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Maxine Davis Ramsey, 86, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at her home. A native of Gaston county, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Lois Davis. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Gastonia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Dan Ramsey; sons, Darrell Ramsey and Russell Ramsey; and three brothers. She is survived by son, Richard Ramsey of Kure Beach; daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Ramsey; grandchildren, Brandy, Mickey, Misty, Ashley, Candace, Dustin, Natalie, and Karlee; great-grandchildren, Ben, Jayden, Adalyn, Mason, Alyssa, Gabriel, Daniel, Nora, David Jr., and Karter. The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the home, 4514 Sandycrest Court Kings Mountain, NC 28086. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the Gaston Hospice Fund.
