Merlin Kay Mullinax Martin

BLACKSBURG- Merlin Mullinax Martin, 51, died Monday, September 24, 2018, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter the Linda Griffin Price of Shelby, and the late Eugene Thomas Mullinax. She loved her grandchildren.

PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandchild Gabrielle Dixon.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband, Jose Martinez, of the home; sons Eddie Blanton and wife Rebecca of Shelby and Matt Blanton and wife Brooke Kimbrell of Chesnee, SC; daughter, Jessica Aragon of Grover; sisters Juanita Mullinax of Spartanburg and Tammy Messey and husband Doug of Shelby; brother Terry Mullinax of Shelby; and grandchildren Anthony, Erika, Bryson, Adrian, Damian, Makayla, Ricardo, Makenzie, Isabella, Brianna and Jasmine.


FUNERAL SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at His Hands Independent Baptist Church, 126 Hopewell Rd., Ellenboro.
