SHELBY-Michael R. Wright, 62, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in Asheville. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Grace Green Wright. He served in the Marines.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his daughter, Tara Burdett and husband James; son, Mike Wright and wife Jaclyn, all of Earl; sister, Sheila Grigg and husband Red of Fallston; two brothers, Richard Wright, and Gene Wright and wife Gail, all of Shelby; five grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlin, and Bailey Howell, Cody and Harlie Wright.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 4PM, Thursday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with military honors
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home
