Mike Owens

August 5, 1960 — February 5, 2023

SHELBY: Mike Owens, 62, died Sunday, February 5, 2023, at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. Born in Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joseph and Louise Owens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny and Bobby Owens. Mike was an avid sports fan, his favorites were basketball and football. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janice Owens; sister, Sandra Pope and husband Ronnie; brother, James Owens and wife Anita; best friend, Jimmy Garrett; and many loved nieces and nephews.
