SHELBY- Mr. Michael “Mikey” Tesseneer, Jr. ,24, of 504 Roberts St., died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of Michael Tesseneer and Kimberley Earwood and step-father, Mitchell Earwood, both of Shelby. He attended Burns High School and was a member of Royster Avenue Church of God.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Rippy.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his mother, father and step-father, he is survived by two sisters, Krista Earwood and Annagrace Earwood, both of Shelby; a brother, Joshua Tesseneer of Shelby; grandmothers, Delores Rippy of Shelby and Barbara Tessiner of Cliffside, grandfather, Roy Ramsey of Kings Mountain; and step-grandparents, Robert and Diane Earwood of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his parents, 3204 Ramseur Church Rd., Shelby.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Royster Avenue Church of God.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Double Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.

OFFICIATING CLERGY: The Rev. Richard Shores
