Mildred Bixel

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Mildred E. Bixel, 98, died Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. A native of Jackson County, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Elizabeth Orr Payne. Mildred enjoying attending the Life Enrichment Center, and volunteering and playing bingo at the Patrick Senior Center. She also enjoyed crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bixel; and four sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Stone and husband Bill of Austinburg, OH, Barbara Reininger and husband Bob of Shelby, and Terrie Lewis and husband Ray of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Bill Stone III, Owen Stone, Toni Stone, Bobby Reininger, Wendi Sellers, Danielle Reininger, Tracie Deaton, and Lori Hambright; great grandchildren, Allison, Bill, Owen, Levi, Becca, Suzie, Buddy, Alexandra, Kalie, Jacob, Hunter, and Cole; ; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Louise Newsome. A private family burial will take place in Ohio.
