Monroe "T.H. " Anderson

December 24, 1924 — August 2, 2007

MT. HOLLY- Mr. Monroe T. “T.H.” Anderson, 82, of 104 Webb St., died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. A native of Alexander County, he was a son of the late Quincy and Elizabeth Adams Anderson. Mr. Anderson served in the 45th Infantry of the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Lee Construction Co. in Charlotte and was a member of Center View Baptist Church in North Belmont.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Sam, and Harley Anderson; and three sisters, Eller Anderson, Vese Withrow and Christine Hester.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by a brother, Carl Anderson and wife, Myrtle, of Shelby; a sister, Norma Anderson of Hickory; and a granddaughter and caregiver, Tina Starnes and husband Jeff of Mt. Holly.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Ross Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
