Muriel P. Honeycutt

SHELBY- Mrs. Muriel Edna Irene Pruett Honeycutt, 84, of 805 South Post Road, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was born July 1, 1927, daughter of the late Carl and Mary Allen Pruett. She was a member of Putnam Memorial Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the staff at Cleveland Pines for the wonderful care and attention they gave her during her time there.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Carl Pruett and two sisters, Madge Hullender and Evelyn Putnam.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years who never missed a day going to be with her at Cleveland Pines, Manning Honeycutt; two sons, Richard Darrel Honeycutt and wife Kathy and Thomas Jason Honeycutt and fiancé Tonyia Fredell; one sister Betty Jo Eaker, all of Shelby; three grandchildren, Justin Thomas Honeycutt, Rodney Earl Honeycutt, and Darin Cory Honeycutt; three great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A memorial service well be held, 1:00 pm, Wednesday at Putnam Memorial Baptist Church.
