Myrtle Leona Davis Clardy

SHELBY- Mrs. Myrtle Leona Davis Clardy, 82, formerly of 5053 Pecan Drive, died March 14, 2011, at Magnolia Manor in Spartanburg. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late George and Maggie Dixon Davis. Myrtle loved crafts and planting flowers.


PRECEDED:In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer A. Clardy; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Danny Clardy of Greenville; two daughters Cheri Parton and husband Alan of Spartanburg and Joyce Roberson of Shelby; sister Aileen McCurry and husband Parris of Shelby; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.


SERVICES: Services will be held, March 15, 3pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.


VISITATION: The family will receive friends, from 12:30-3pm, March 15, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

CLERGY: Rev. Stan Webb will be officiating.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
