Nadine West

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Mrs. Clara “Nadine” West, 55, of Mica St., died Sat., Aug. 31, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of Isabel Smith Cook of Kings Mountain, and the late Lloyd Blanton. She worked 35 years at Wix.

PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step father, Zollie Cook; and brother, Lanny Blanton.

SURVIVED: In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Mike West; son, Randal Phillips; daughter, Tara Phillips; sister, Freida Blanton; brother, Keith Blanton; two grandchildren, Kassidy Bowen and Paydon Oliver; mother-in-law, Joyce Clark and husband Larry, all of Kings Mountain.

SERVICES: Tuesday, 11AM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
