SHELBY- Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Lyman Terry, 74 of 2600 W. Zion Church Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
FUNERAL: 11:00am, Saturday, Aug. 19th, at Lily Memorial Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
BURIAL: will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
VISITATION: 6-7:30pm, Friday (Aug. 18th) ay Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Mrs. Terry was a native of Gaston County and a faithful member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She loved collecting dolls and Elvis Presley memorabilia.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: her husband, Horace Vance Heffner, Sr.; her mother, Eva Lyman Blanton and her step-father, Troy Blanton, a brother, Paul Lyman, a sister, Jeanette Champion, and a brother-in-law, Wayne Heffner.
SURVIVORS: one son, Horace Vance Heffner "Junior" and his wife Charlotte of Shelby; three granddaughters, Lynn Kiser and husband Mike of Point, Texas, Heather Lane of Kings Mountain, and Nicole Heffher of Shelby, seven great-grandchildren, Kacie, Kyle, Kaitlan, and Karann Kiser, Garrett Price, and twins, Scarlett and Marley Lane, a sister-in-law, Bonita Heffner, and a nephew, Darrel Heffner both of Pageland, SC.
