Nellie Mae Sanders

SHELBY- Mrs. Nellie Mae Wise Sanders, 87, of 1700 S. Lafayette Street, recently of White Oak Manor, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Cleveland County, and was active as a volunteer in various capacities at the Senior Center. She was a lifelong member of Zoar Baptist Church.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: She was preceded in death by her husband, Wylie Sanders her son, Steve Sanders, her mother Madge Wise, and a grandson, Richard Todd Webber.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by two daughters, Donna Webber and husband, Bill of Shelby, and Judy Bridges and husband, Frank, Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a special cousin, Evelyn McKee Sisk of Greenville, SC.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends an hour before the service on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Zoar Baptist Church and at other times at the home of Donna and Bill Webber, 1686 S. Lafayette St., Shelby.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Zoar Baptist Church.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
