SHELBY- Mrs. Norma Mancinelli, 91, went to be with her Lord, Wed, Nov. 20, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Reece and Hester Hood Moser. She graduated from Charlotte Tech High School in 1942. She worked for Kings Department Store and Kmart, later retiring. Norma was an auxiliary member of DAV and VFW, a member of the Eastern Star, and a volunteer at the VA and Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Shelby Presbyterian Church and active in the soup kitchen.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sister, Frances McCurdy; brother, Reece Moser Jr.; and grandson, Andy Mancinelli
SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert Mancinelli, of the home; daughter, Marie Mancinelli and partner Terry Nilles of Charlotte; two sons, John Mancinelli and wife Janet of Shelby, Micheal Mancinelli of L.A., CA; two sisters, Laura Jane Hill and husband William of Charlotte, Barbara Ann Jamison and husband Lee of Georgia; grandson, Aaron Mancinelli and wife Tiffany of Shelby; five great-grandchildren, Kaiya Mancinelli, Ayden Hamrick, Andy and Adam Mancinelli, and Lilly Arrowood.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Saturday, 2PM, at Shelby Presbyterian Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 6-7:30PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home
