Paul Hord Jr.

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Paul Anderson Hord Jr., 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 15, 2023 at home. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Paul A Hord Sr. and Ruby Turner Hord. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 61 and half years of marriage. He was the owner and operator of Paul's Seafood for 21 years and also the owner of Paul's Small Engine Repair for 15 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was an active member of First Baptist Church for 40 years where he served the Lord.

Survived: He is survived by daughters Kim Fleming and husband Russell, Denise Cobb and husband Pete, son Randy Hord and wife Leigh all of Kings Mountain; 8 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Service: Graveside services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, July 18 at Mountain Rest Cemetery.

Officiting: Rev. Dr. John "Chip" Sloan

The family will speak with attendees immediately following the service.
