Paulette Chappell

SHELBY: Paulette R. Chappell, 74, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland. She was born in Charlotte to the late James and Geneva James Reavis. She loved her God and family. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Chappell Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Sensing and Starla Mergott and husband Gary, both of Shelby; sons, James Shirah and wife Tricia of Mt. Pleasant, NC and David Chappell of Shelby; sister, Wanda Robinson and husband Rev. Phillip Robinson; brother, Tommy Reavis and wife Katie of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating.
