SHELBY- Peggy Bowman Allen, 76, died Sat., Dec. 5, 2015, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Alton and Helen Edna Humphries Bowman. Peggy retired from Kemet Electronics.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Karen White and husband Reece of Shelby; son, Christopher Wright of Lincolnton; sister, Faye Cooke and husband Don of Shelby; grandchildren, Morgan Morrison and husband Bradley, Molly and Maggie Clay, Kristian, Logan, and Addison Wright; great-grandchildren, Xander and Xavi Morrison; special aunt, Mildred Williams of Grayson, Ga.; and her special friend and caregiver, Sue Hicks of Shelby

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11am, Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home

BURIAL: will follow in Sunset Cemetery

CLERGY: Dr. Tim Sims will officiate

FUNERAL HOME: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby
