BOILING SPRINGS- Mr. Edwin Curtis “Pete” Webb, 75, of 531 Clyde Wallace Rd., died Friday, December 21, 2007 at Brian Center in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Debro and Alma Pearson Webb. He served in the U.S. Army with service in Korea and was retired from Mauney Hosiery in Kings Mountain. Mr. Webb was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James “Turkey” Webb.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife, Sue Morrow Webb, of the home: a son, Curtis Webb and wife, Jill, of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Sharon Hicks and husband, Bill, of Shelby and Shelia Webb of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Katherine Woods and husband, Carl and Jeanette Francis, all of Boiling Springs; a brother, Jerry Webb and wife, Judy of Fallston; a granddaughter, Billie Hicks; a grandson, Shannon Pearson and wife Dana; and two great grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Pearson.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 23, 2007 from 2:00-3:00pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2007 in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park, military honors by the Foothills Detachment No. 1164, Marine Corps League.
