Randy "Cowboy" Davis

SHELBY – Mr. Randy “Cowboy” Davis, 60, 5022 Pecan Dr., died Thurs., May 9, 2013. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of Reba Cash Davis of Shelby, and the late A.V. Davis. He was a 36 year employee of Magnolia in Gaffney, where he was a team leader of quality assurance. He recently retired from Number Three Volunteer Fire Department with 21 years of service. He was a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church, and was a man who loved his family.

PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Moss Davis.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his three sons, Brian Davis and wife Melisa, Brad Davis, and Timmy Davis and fiancee Shannon Walker; two sisters, Marla Boone and husband Steve, Renee Dyer and husband Cliff, all of Shelby; two brothers, Wayne Davis and wife Vickie of Mooresboro, Ricky Davis and wife Donna of Blacksburg; six grandchildren, Brent, Shawn, Jeremy, Benjamin, Travis and J.R. Davis; stepsons, Keith Patterson of Raleigh and Kevin Patterson of Fl.

SERVICES: 1PM, Monday, at Faith Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Monday, 11-1PM, at Faith Baptist Church, and other times at his mother’s home, 2720 S. Post Rd., Shelby
