Randy Myers

SHELBY: Randy Wayne Myers, 83, died Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Caromont Health in Gastonia. Born in Pennsylvania County, VA, he was the son of the late Earl and Eugenia Turpin Myers. Randy served in the Navy during the Korean War Conflict. He was General Manager of The Cone Mill in Cliffside, and was a mason, shriner and an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, James Dean Myers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Soyars Myers of the home; sons, Gerald Myers and wife Angie of Boiling Springs, SC, Dean Myers and Michael Myers and wife Shelby both of Shelby; grandchildren, Heather, Ethan, Alyssa, Makayla, and Landon Myers, and Katie and Emily Stroupe. No formal services are planned at this time.
