Ray Ball

KINGS MOUNTAIN-Mr. Ray Edward Ball, 72, of Kings Mountain, died August 3, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of West Virginia, he was the son of the late Fred and Georgia Chafins Ball.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Hatfield Ball; a brother Kelly Ball; and a sister, Ollie Goforth.


SURVIVORS: He is survived by two sons, Michael Ball of Shelby, Larry Ball and wife Kelly of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Pam Bell and husband Donald of Kings Mountain; one sister Billie Pruitt of Alabama; one brother, Lewis Ball of Ohio; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 3-4:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2011 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

FUNERAL: The funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.


INTERMENT:. Will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery.

CLERGY: Rev. Steven Blanton will be officiating
