Ray Lewis

MOORESBORO: Howard “Ray” Lewis, 76, died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Howard Ray Lewis Sr. and Mary Etta Harrill Gragg. Ray served in the US Army, owned and operated Lewis Roofing, enjoy his “coffee breaks” at the Snack Shop in Boiling Springs and was the kindest and loving husband, father and grandfather a family could ever ask for. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Cynthia Lewis, of the home; son, Van Lewis and wife Michelle of Mooresboro; and daughters, Kellie Lewis of Kings Mountain and Angela Herzing of Shelby; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Jeremy, Jacob, Chasitity, Summer and Hunter Owen, and Dylan Lewis and Zeike Pearson; and great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Avia, Lakelyn, Waylon, Brantley Cole, Carley and Joshua. Funeral services will be private to the family.
