Rebecca Chitwood

Rebecca Oliver Chitwood, 74, died, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Atrium Health Lincolnton. Born in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Viola Blackwell Oliver.
Rebecca was a caretaker at heart who loved her family deeply. She was a strong willed people person who never met a stranger. Rebecca also enjoyed cooking and camping and all sorts of outdoor activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Roy Chitwood; son, Christopher Davison; daughter, Teresa Davison; sisters, Debra smith and Scotty Ruppe; brothers, Timothy Oliver and Carlton Oliver. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Wells and fiancée Todd Hewatt of Kings Mountain, and brothers, Gary and Richard Jr. Oliver. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain with the Rev. Richard Stroup officiating.
