Harold "Bud" Delozier

SHELBY- Rev. Harold “Bud” Delozier, 77, of 3820 W. Dixon Blvd., died Sun., Nov. 13th 2011 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. A native of Spartanburg Co., SC, he was the son of the late Elmer and Evelyn Pitts Delozier. He served in the Army and was former pastor of Big Springs Baptist Church in Hollis, and Green River Baptist Church in Green River, NC. He served as a counselor for Carolina Psychiatric.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judy Jones Delozier, of the home; two sons, Phil Delozier and wife Alice, and Ric Delozier and wife Mary, all of Shelby; daughter, Cindy Goforth and husband Jamie of Forest City; brother, Charles Delozier of Easley, SC; eight grandchildren, Teresa, Jerry, Nikki, Chris, Amy, Rick, Miranda, and Dena; nine great grandchildren.


SERVICES: 3:30pm, Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
