Richard Byers

GROVER-Richard Glenn Byers, 71, departed this life on Friday, December 30, 2022 to begin his Heavenly journey. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Paul and Francis Price Byers. Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was a wonderful person. He was kind to everyone that he met. He is survived by his loving wife Dana Byers of the home; Son, Jody Byers and wife Janie of Kings Mountain; daughter, Ashley Floder, Georgia West of Shelby, and Caelyn Byers of the home; sister, Karen Byers of Grover; brother, Roger Byers of SC; stepdaughter, Amber Bell and husband Joseph; stepson, Matthew Patterson and wife Chrissy; grandchildren, Anna Byers, Morgan Rhodes, Ephram and Kayce Bell, Benjamin, Heath, and Corban Foster; five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special fur babies Dixon and Pixie.
A memorial services will be held 12PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Grover with the Revs. Scott Kierstead and David Saldo officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church.
