Richard Buford Tessener

GROVER- Richard Tesseneer, 59, of Lavender Road, passed away Saturday, October, 11, 2014 at his residence. A native of Cleveland County, he was born January 4, 1955, son of Carl Buford Tesseneer and the late Willie Mae Champion Tesseneer. He was a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one son, Darrell Short.

SURVIVED: In addition to his father he is survived by his wife, Bonnie Summey Tesseneer of the home; two sons, Eddie Short and wife Angie, Dwayne Tesseneer and wife Tamieka Howell; one daughter, Carol Short Arnold; three sisters, Dianne Glover and husband Jerry, Judy Brewer, and Darlene Owens and husband Wayne; seven grandchildren, Maya Short, Chrissette, Myles, and Corinne Tesseneer, Alesha, Brandon and Taylor Arnold; one great grandchild, Tucker Allen.


SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday at Christopher Road Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:45am before the service at the church.

CLERGY: Don Edwards will speak at the service.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Mountain Rest cemetery in Kings Mountain.
