Richard Wynnberry

SHELBY: Richard “Ritchie” Wayne Wynnberry, 54, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was the son of the late Myra W. Farris and Mickey Wynnberry. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, graduated from Shelby High School and attended Cleveland Community College and UNC Greensboro. He was a Caregiver for Jim Wilson for many years and later retired. He is survived by brothers, Quay and Kyle Farris; sister, Lea A. Galloway; aunt and uncle, Nancy and Bobby Green; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Eastside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, in the church. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Eastside Baptist Church.
