Robert Boyd Camp

LAWNDALE- Robert Boyd “Robbie” Camp, 64, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at his home. A native of Ingham, MI, he is the son of Virginia “Irene” Camp of Blacksburg, SC, and the late Bill Camp. He worked for Robertson Control as an electrician, and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family. He served in the Army.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rhonda Haynes Camp, of the home; daughter, Pam Benton and husband Quinton of Shelby; son, Joey Camp and Christina Owens of Shelby; sisters, Kathy Mullinax and Laura Ross, both of Blacksburg, SC; brother, Bill Camp Jr. of Shelby; grandchildren, Little Joey Camp, Wade Camp, Hunter Camp, Hannah Camp, Dalton Owens, Brayden Camp, Jayden Camp, Bryson Jones, Alex Jones, Nathan Jones, and Jaxon Benton; great-grandson, Blaine Boyd Camp; and brother-in-law, Doug Haynes of Shelby

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 3pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday, 1:30-3pm, at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park with military honor’s

OFFICIATING: Rev. James Harring will officiate
