KINGS MOUNTAIN: Robert Parker, 70, died Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Testa Family Hospice. A native of Cleveland Co., he was born to the late Joseph and Eunice Morrison Parker. He was a member of VFW Post 9811 Cherryville/Kings Mountain. He loved to hunt, fish, bowl, play golf, softball and 8-Ball. But most of all he loved his grandchildren.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Wayne Parker.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Yvonne Johnson Parker, of the home; children Anthony Ellis of Chester, SC; Crystal Adair of Lancaster, SC, Stacy Snider of Winter Haven, Fl., Deana Canteen and husband Roger of Gastonia, Elizabeth Garrett and husband James of Kings Mountain; sisters Linda Parker and Ann Huffman of Kings Mountain; brothers James Parker and wife Peggy of Kings Mountain and Gary Parker and wife Marie of Vale; grandchildren, Chana Watkins, Salem Ellis, Vincant Adair, Kortni Pruitt, Hunter Allen, Austin Black, Trey Black and Nora Damroth; great grandchildren, Cheyanne Watkins and Ayden Adair.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Harvest Time Assembly at 4:00 PM
