SHELBY-Robert Dean “Bobby” Ruff, 56, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland. A native of Haywood County, N.C., he was the son of Shirley Freeman Tilley and the late Roy Ray Ruff.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Vickey Parker and husband Jay of Cross Anchor, S.C., and Stacy Bowles of Grover; three brothers, Randy Ruff and wife Brenda of Shelby, Marty Ruff of Spruce Pine, and Lane Ruff of Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Patsy Jenkins.
Inurnment will be at Woodside Cemetery in Clover, S.C.
