Robert "Bob" Wade

GROVER- Robert Love "Bob" Wade, 73, passed away Thursday March 31, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. A native of Greenville County, SC, he was the son of the late Marion Love and Elizabeth McDowell Wade. He was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Grover. He was a retired welder from Duke Energy after 39 years. For the last twelve years he worked for TEI Construction.


PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin sister, Billie Ann Wade.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife, Teresa Wright Wade of the home; two sons, Robert Wade and wife Gwen of Kings Mountain, Kevin McDaniel of Smyrna, SC; one daughter, Kelly Childers and husband Roger of Blacksburg; one sister, Marion Wade Armstrong; five grandchildren, Colton Wade, Taylor Wade, Austin McDaniel, Bradley Childers, Mackenzie Childers; one great grandchild, Easton Colton Wade.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 pm before the service at the funeral home

BURIAL: Grover Cemetery
