SHELBY – Mr. Robert Steve Weathers, 69, of Caleb Rd., passed away Thurs., June 27, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Margie Weathers. He served in the Army, worked as an electrician at Doran and Moire, and was a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church. He loved fishing, as well as his grandchildren.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sylvia Turner Weathers, of the home; two daughters, Tammy Skaggs and husband Sheldon, of Gastonia, and Bobbie Williamson and husband Trey, of Mills River; three grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas Skaggs, and Dax Williamson.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be 11AM, Monday, at Davidson Memorial Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Sunday, 2-4PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
