Roger Sealey

July 20, 1927 — February 3, 2016

SHELBY-Roger R. Sealey, 88, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late William and Madge Devine Sealey. Roger served overseas in the Army, during WWII. He worked on the Nike Missile at Douglas Aircraft, was a lifelong member of the Church of God, and operated a dog grooming business for many years, along with his wife, Thelma.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma; one sister; and three brothers

SURVIVED: He is survived by two aunts; several cousins; and many nieces and nephews

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

BURIAL: will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
