Roger Dale Elmore

SHELBY- Mr. Roger Dale Elmore, 54, of 3127 Charlie Elliott Road, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at home. He was a son to the late A.F. Elmore Sr. and Cluster Head Elmore. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and was employed at Ellis Lumber for the past 35 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kay Elmore and seven brothers and sisters.He is survived by his wife, Faye Tallent Elmore of Shelby; three sons, Michael Elmore, Stevie Elmore, and Chris Elmore and his fiancé, Cindy Rush, all of Shelby; one sister, Shirley McNeiley and her husband, Willard, of Shelby; one brother Randy Elmore of Burlington, NC; four grandchildren, Linda, Justin, Skyler, and Christopher Elmore; and his step-mother, Dorothy Elmore of Hickory.

VISITATION: Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Community Baptist Cemetery.
