Ron Clay

LAWNDALE: Ronald “Ron” Clay, 82, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late James and Ruth Williamson Clay. Ron retired from Duke Energy, had a passion for restoring old cars, loved history and always enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Taylor; and brothers, Larry, Roger and Dicky Clay. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Chella Clay Hamrick and husband Tim of Lawndale; his grandsons, Clay and Heath Razo; sister, Rachel Arndt of Belmont; and brother, Michael Clay and wife Ingrid of Watertown, NY. The family will receive friends 2:00-5:00PM, Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the home of his daughter, Chella Hamrick, 3313 Charlie Elliott Road, Lawndale.
