Ronald "Ronnie" Hull

SHELBY: Ronald “Ronnie” Hull, 74, died Monday, June 7, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Eugene and Ruth Porter Hull. Ronnie has a great work ethic, working for Fiber Industries, Bost Bakery and Doran Mill, until they all closed. When Cleveland Yutaka opened in Shelby, he was one of the original employees hired, and he later retired from there. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and an avid Carolina fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Sarah Marie Hull; brother, Johnny Hull; sister, Elizabeth Granger; and his wife’s children, Janice, Emmett and Linda. He is survived by his brother, Doug Hull and wife Tina; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hull and Frances Booth and husband Kenneth; niece and his caregiver, Gaye Willis; his wife’s daughters, Rita and Rickie; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 3pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Tim Sims officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
