Ronny Honeycutt

SHELBY: Ronny Lane Honeycutt,74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on June 14, 2023. He was the son of the late, Thomas and Carrie Honeycutt. Ronny proudly served his country as a young man in the US Army in Germany. His family, including siblings and grandkids, brought him much pride and joy. He had a passion for anything car or race related, a good bottle of tequila, and country music. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Honeycutt; and brother Zebbie Honeycutt. Ronny is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Beam and husband Will of Grover; sister, Ann Efird and husband Roger of Oakboro; brothers, Johnny Honeycutt and wife Sue of Concord and Don Honeycutt of Monroe; grandchildren, Landyn Cash, William Beam, Aiden Cash, Kallie Beam and Taylor Beam; former wife and best friend, Katheryn Honeycutt; numerous cousins and friends; and K-9 companion, Bella. The family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland County for their care and support. A private remembrance for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Kidney Foundation, the VA, and Hospice of Cleveland County.
