KINGS MOUNTAIN: Ruby Jackson Cox, 91, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Lena Odell Jackson. She attended East Gold St. Wesleyan Church and retired from textiles

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cox; sisters, Dorothy Eury and Betty Shytle; and brothers, Harold and Johnny Jackson.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Ricky Cox of Kings Mountain; and sister, Peggy Lawing and husband Bobby of Charlotte.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at East Gold St. Wesleyan Church, officiated by Rev. Scott Whitney. The family will receive friends one hour, prior to the service, at the church.

BURIAL: Will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery
