Ruth Prince

SHELBY: Ruth Gold Prince,85, died Thursday, April 4, 2024 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Warren Ivester and Lela Irene Gold. Ruth retired from Stouffer’s in Gaffney, she was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved looking up her family genealogy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; sons, Ronald Eugene Glover and Alan Moore; and her loving dog, Tinkerbell “Tink”. She is survived by her sons, Donald Fredrick Jenkins Jr. and wife Pam of Kings Mountain, John Marshall Glover Jr. of Shelby, Kenneth Glover and wife Tina of Shelby, and Robert Charles Moore and wife Lisa of Lyman, SC; daughter-in-law, Barbra Glover; brother, Joseph William Cornwell and wife Jo Ellen of Polkville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday April 6,2024 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Frazier officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
