Ruth Mcswain Davidson

SHELBY- Mrs. Ruth McSwain Davidson, formerly of Shelby, died Monday, December 7, 2009, at Unihealth, Columbia, SC. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Burton W. and Ocie Poole McSwain. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Davidson; one brother, Wilbur F. McSwain; and one sister Margaret Hedspeth.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her four daughters, Tricia Weeks and husband Alan of Stockbridge, GA; Judy Davidson Lineberger; Amanda Berrier and husband Barney, and Amy Davidson. all of Columbia; two sisters, Helen Millsaps of Shelby, and Faye Hall and husband John of Gastonia; two brothers, Ray McSwain, and John McSwain and wife Andrea, all of Shelby; and three grandchildren, Davidson, Margaret, and Emma Berrier, all of Columbia. The family would like to thank Dr. David Johnson and the staff at Palmetto Senior Care.
VISITATION: There will be a reception following the graveside service, 1 p.m., December 9, at 1:00 pm, at Zoar Baptist Church Family Life Center.
GRAVESIDE: A graveside service will be held, Wednesday, December 9, at 12:00 pm, at Cleveland Memorial Park.
CLERGY: The Rev. Clint Newton will be officiating.
