Sam Eaton Jr.

SHELBY: Sam Eaton Jr., 66, died Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home. A native of Essex County, MA, he is the son of Samuel Eaton Sr. of NH and the late Charlotte Heywood Eaton. Sam was a Truck Driver in New England for more than 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Steve. In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Bette Simms Eaton of the home; sons, Christopher Eaton and fiancée Jolene of FL, Chris Girouard and wife Stacie of NH and Erik Girouard and wife Kelli of SC; daughter, Paula Phelps and husband Travis of Kings Mountain; sisters, Audrey Jalbert and husband Brian, Tammy Guckert and husband Dave, Tina Powers and Hope McConnell, all of NH; brother, Robert Eaton of PA; grandchildren, Teresa Brittle, Ethan Girouard, Felicity Jones-Eaton, Alexis Bennett, Sarah Phelps, Dylan Phelps, Emily Phelps, Lucas Girouard, Delana Girouard and Erin Winter; great-grandchild, Bellamy Lancaster; numerous nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Willie G, Tigger and Girlie.
