KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mr. Sammy E. McCluney, 54, of 103 Range Rd., died Monday, August 20, 2007 at home. He was a son of Jack McCluney of Shelby and the late Hazel C. McCluney. Regrettably, his wife, Janice Royster McCluney, died Friday, August 24, 2007.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Cathy Bowen, Jackie Pearson and husband, Danny, and Tina Daugherty, all of Shelby, and Cynthia Vaughn and husband, Mike of North Wilkesboro.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends for Sammy and Janice on Monday, August 27, 2007 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 27, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made on behalf of the family to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
