Sarah Cochran

SHELBY: Sarah Champion Cochran, 79, died Monday, January 22, 2024, at Wendover Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Sissie B. Champion. Sarah was a long-time member of Landmark Baptist Church and an avid Avon lady. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Dana; brother, William Champion; sister, Cora Anne Marsh; and step-son, Tim Cochran. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Cochran (Jessica) of Shelby; step-daughter, Pam Watts (Ken) of Blacksburg, SC; step-son, Chip Cochran of Shelby; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and special friend, Ray Mullins. Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, January 26,2024 at Landmark Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
