Sharlene Lutz

LAWNDALE: Patsy “Sharlene” Lutz, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2024. A native of Lawndale, she was the beloved daughter of the late Colon and Agnes Garver. Patsy and husband Charles made their home in Belwood. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, providing a loving and nurturing home for her family. She married Charles Lutz, and together they built a life filled with love and dedication. Patsy was also known for her skill as a seamstress, offering her talents to many in the community. Her love for music led her to serve as the Choir Director of Knob Creek United Methodist Church, where she inspired and uplifted others with her passion for song. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Lutz; her sons, Timothy Todd Lutz and Charles Protus Lutz, and her granddaughter, Ashley Lutz. Patsy is survived by her sons, Chris Lutz and his wife Lisa, Curt Lutz and his wife Amy, Craig Lutz and his wife Lorie, and daughter-in-law Vicki Lutz. She is also survived by her brother, Carol Garver, and her grandchildren: Jessica Lutz, Chelsea Lutz Crunkleton and her husband Andreu, Emily Lutz Hudson and her husband Josh, Josh Lutz, Corey Lutz, Christian Lutz, Lauren Faircloth, and Camden Lutz. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy. Patsy's warmth, generosity, and faith touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Knob Creek Church with Rev. Juston Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashely Lutz Memorial Scholarship Fund, 508 Mt.
