Sharon Grant Humphries

SHELBY: Sharon Grant Humphries, 63, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at Atrium Health-Shelby. A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Donald and Barbara Crawley Grant. She was a loving wife, Mother and grandmother and fondly called Maw Maw by the many children she helped care for over the years. She was a long time member of Flint Hill Baptist Church and loved baking cakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Pam Bumgardner. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Mickey Humphries, of the home; sons, Tracy Humphries and wife Tracy W. of Mooresboro and Jeremy Humphries of Boiling Springs; daughter Melissa Bridges and husband Andy of Boiling Springs; brother Alan Grant and wife Wanda of Ellenboro; grandchildren, Kelsey, Sierra, Ryan, Garret, Will, Chase, Emmalin, Dawsun, Koleby, Kaitlin and Eli; great grandchildren, Melayna and Easton; and best friend Kim Jones.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Flint Hill Baptist Church. Rev Shane Kirby & Rev. Keith Dixon, officiating
