GROVER-Sheila Whitehouse, 69, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at her residence. A native of Haywood county, she was the daughter of the late Brownlow and Pearl Norris Conner.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, this past October, James Whitehouse of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Harris and husband Sam, Crystal Bowen and husband Forrest all of Grover, Nola Webb and husband Shane of Kings Mountain; five sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and other times at the home, 158 Hicks Road, Grover.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Robbie Moore.
Interment will be at Grover Cemetery.
