Sherry Bridges

SHELBY- Sherry Lee Burch Bridges, 51, of 1811 Ridings Road, passed away Thursday, may 31, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Burke County, she was born July 9, 1960, daughter of the late Larry and Hazel McKinney Burch. She had an everlasting love for her pets; she leaves behind her dog Nemo, and her two cats, Dory and Tommy Tuna. The love of her life was her dog Jasper who has gone on before her as well as Jaspers mother, Penny, who has also passed away.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Bridges of the home; three sons, John Bridges and wife Wendy of Lawndale, Andy Bridges and wife Melissa of Lattimore, and Daniel Pruett and wife Shelia of Mooresboro; two sisters, Vivian Moss and husband Lewis of Jonesville, SC, and Juanita Peterson and husband Randy of Shelby; one brother, Doug Burch of Kings Mountain; seven grandchildren, Will, Bryson, Brooklyn, Emmalin, Koleby Bridges, and Mason and Dylan Pruett.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday at Shelby Missionary Methodist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the church and other times at her home.
